Fresco was commissioned by the Florida State Music Teachers Association for the 2008 Collegiate Chapter Convocation. The premiere took place at Hillsborough Community College (Ybor City/Tampa) on October 25, 2008 and was performed by Dr. Rene Gonzales, Professor of Guitar at the University of Miami with members of La Camerata Guitar Ensemble of Manatee Community College directed by Rex Willis.
