Glad you could join us is a common phrase, but one you don’t often hear at a traditional instrumental concert. Sure, you might hear that phrase at a choir concert but now is your opportunity, Guitar Ensemble Directors, to schedule a piece that will loosen up your players (especially your Classical Guitarists!) And have them playing and singing at the same time! This chorus, almost like a drinking song with no lyrics, just simple vocalizations, has been “concert-tested” in several venues in different states… your audience will be smiling and singing on the way out… guaranteed!
